Welcome! My name is Marie, and I live in Western Massachusetts. I
have been diabetic for 28 years. I hope my page offers you some much needed information!

- I work as a Project Coordinator for 21st Century Community Learning Centers After School Programs through State Funded Grants.
- I work part-time for a great software company named StyleEase Software, LLC. The software is for Academic Writers and I am the Technical Support Specialist.
- I own a computer services business, McCourt Computer Services, where I have been doing web pages, teaching manuals, and menus for small, seasonal restaurants and PC repair/ building and computer training.
- AND, most importantly, I advocate and speak about diabetes locally and nationally whenever possible
- As I mentioned, I am diabetic. After many years of being a "brittle" diabetic, and having many complications, I decided to really educate myself and be healthy. A couple of the things I am doing is being an Advocate for the American Diabetes Association and Manager for the Diabetes, Hypoglycemia and Transplants Corner Web Community for Diabetes, and the Newsgroup Diabetes, etc. You can read my story in Another Day, Not in Paradise
- As a matter of fact, I went to Washington, DC March 7th - 9th, 1999 to Advocate to my Congessman, and to be part of the RALLY FOR A CURE on the US Capitol steps.
